Upskilling for the Future
Upskilling is important to advance and learn new skills, increase engagement and boost business productivity. Particularly in the context of digital transformation, an investment in human capital upskilling is more important than ever.
Behavioural skills are essential in a modern business and are our focus area for initiatives, programs and workshops. IBM’s 2018 study showed that top skills sought in the technology sector were “behavioural skills - willingness to be flexible, agile, and adaptable to change and time management skills and ability to prioritise.”
Upskilling is as much a multi-step learning process as it is creating a culture of learning and growth (i.e. a learning organisation). Our work supports learning organisations with outcomes integrated into daily ways of working as well as multiple levels of learning.
We operate from a custom-built studio for virtual sessions as well as in-person training facilities.
Popular initiatives, workshops and speaking engagements include:
- Psychological Safety,
- Organisational Culture,
- Future of Work,
- Behavioural Skills (team communication, team engagement, team triggers),
- Customer Sales and Service,
- Leadership and Change Management.
We respect that each team has a unique set of circumstances so we customise our sessions to meet the needs of those in the training room. Three of our popular half-day behavioural skills programs that rely on our psychometric assessments are listed below.
Team Communication Map: Defining the Communication Dynamics of Your Team
The Team Communication Map workshop has been designed as a way for participants to summarise, record and share key communication characteristics about their team. The workshop brings a team together to explore each others communication styles and how to effectively adapt to maximise communication.
As a part of the workshop, each team member will receive a TTI Success Insights DISC Profile. Utilising the DISC Profile, each team member will share:
- Their Value to the Organisation,
- Checklist for Communicating,
- How to Avoid Ineffective Communication.
Each participant will complete their own map of how to communicate and work with their colleagues. With these insights, the team leader and the members of the team will be better equipped to navigate their daily interactions in person, online or in a hybrid situation. See course outline here.
Team Engagement Map: Uncovering the Drivers and Engagement Factors of your Team
The Team Engagement Map workshop has been designed as a way for participants to summarise, record and share key motivational characteristics about their team. The workshop brings a team together to explore each others' personal drivers and how to effectively engage each team member.
As a part of the workshop, each team member will receive a TTI Success Insights DISC and Driving Forces Profile (known as Talent Insights). Utilising this Profile, each team member will share:
- Their Primary Driving Forces,
- Potential Energisers and Engagers,
- The Ideal Environment to be at Their Best.
Each participant will complete their own map of each of their colleagues' primary drivers, things that might engage them and the environment to create around them to be at their best. See course outline here.
Team Triggers Map: Exploring the Emotional Triggers of your Team
The Team Triggers Map workshop has been designed as a way for participants to summarise, record and share key emotional triggers within their team. We are all prompted to react to a culmination of a series of events, both positive and negative. We each have personal emotional triggers, and this workshop is designed to explore these within a team.
As a part of the workshop, each team member will receive a TTI Success Insights DISC, Driving Forces and Emotional Quotient Profile (known as TriMetrix EQ). Utilising this Profile, each team member will share:
- Their Potential Behavioural Triggers,
- Their Potential Motivational Triggers.
Each participant will complete their own map of each of their colleagues' possible positive and negative emotional triggers based on their behavioural style and personal drivers. See course outline here.
I would have no hesitation recommending the DTS International team to any learning and development professional looking for a supplier partnership.
